We’re thrilled to announce an open call for the Regulation & Governance special issue:
“Regulating the Invisible: Efforts to Map and Control Corruption”
Guest Editor: Alina Mungiu-Pippidi (LUISS Guido Carli)
Deadline for extended abstracts: June 1, 2025
This special issue seeks to bridge the persistent gap between academic research and policy implementation in the field of corruption control. It is part of the Horizon-funded BridgeGap project and invites contributions that critically explore institutional corruption, anti-corruption regulation, and the transnational risks it poses—especially in and around the European Union.
Themes include (but are not limited to):
- Bridging the de jure vs. de facto anti-corruption gap
- Impact of regulatory frameworks like public procurement policies
- Role of media freedom and judicial cooperation
- Innovations in measuring corruption
- Evaluating the consequences of policy failure
We welcome innovative methodologies, critical reviews, and policy-relevant insights.
