Follow the Money

Follow the Money is a search engine enabled by Youcontrol, a BridgeGap partner organization, on top of their YC World pooled database.

The search engine enables investigating beneficial ownership (who really owns a company), and undue corrupt influence (links between public authority holders, directly or through their proxies and businesses) by uncovering business links between companies and individuals, searching mostly in registers of commerce from the European Union, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Belarus.

Track relevant connections between subjects using either names of individuals or businesses.

To use the search engine, you need to have login credentials that you can obtain by communicating with a manager after filling in the request form.

The registration information we collect includes the following fields, each serving a specific purpose:
Name – to personalize communication and address you properly. Phone number – used to contact you, verify your identity, and enhance account security. Email – used to contact you, activate your license, provide access to the system, and deliver important notifications. Password – used to securely log into your account. Industry you work in and job title – helps us tailor the service to your professional context and deliver the most relevant experience. Partner code (optional) – relevant only for users who have received one. It is not applicable to participants of this project.
