BridgeGap is currently mapping and comparing criminal law frameworks on corruption in 40 different countries across the European area.
To ensure consistent data collection, we have developed and completed a structured questionnaire covering four key dimensions of analysis, aiming to assess the structure of relevant offences, applicable sanctions, and certain procedural aspects.
On 31 October 2025, we will hold an online review session at Luiss University in Rome to discuss methodological aspects and review the preliminary data collected. Therefore, we are seeking external reviewers – legal scholars or practitioners with expertise in criminal law – who can provide feedback on accuracy, completeness, and possible gaps, concerning the following countries: Slovenia, Slovakia, Malta, Lithuania, Latvia, and Armenia. But if you are an expert on criminal law in another European country, do please join; we are happy to collect on our chat as much information and views as possible.
